A prospective, open, randomized, multicenter, controlled group study to assess the safety and efficacy of Navigatorâ„¢ versus conventional care in post-operative cardiac surgery patients while undergoing coronary bypass grafting and/or heart valve repair or replacement while utilizing heart lung perfusion pump (The Nav-1 Study)

Objective To test the efficacy and safety of targeted hemodynamic bedside care using a novel computer-based guidance system (Navigatorâ„¢) for the circulation
Recruitment Closed. 112 patients; 59 in guided care arm, 53 in conventional therapy arm
Status Completed.
Results Guided hemodynamic therapy with the Navigatorâ„¢ device was safe and non-inferior to standard ICU therapy.
